The metered-dose, aerosol spray is a mixture of the anesthetics lidocaine and prilocaine. It is spritzed onto the tip of the penis 15 minutes before sex.
Before using the spray, the 54 heterosexual men in the study ejaculated, on average, one minute after vaginal penetration.
In the test, on four occasions, half the men used the anesthetic spray 15 minutes before sex, the other half a placebo with no active ingredients.
The men or their partners used a stopwatch to measure the time from vaginal penetration to ejaculation.

Monday, November 23rd, 2009Hi everyone, I’m a 22 year old male and there’s something that’s been bothering me for about 1 year and 2 months:
The sensitivity of the shaft of my penis seems to be gone. I remember I noticed it when I was mastubating, 2 days after having woken up on my erection. this hurt, but i didn’t think it would cause nerve damage. I then noticed that i couldn’t get an erection. I hoped it would be temporary and that in the next day when I woke up it would be back to normal. I was wrong.
Basically I have to rely only on my glans for sexual stimulation. Before I used the shaft mostly as it was the less sensitive, so it was better for me to masturbate (and have sex) for a longer time. I’ve learned to kind of accept it, and by now I can barely remember how it was to have a pleasurable feeling on the shaft. (sometimes sex lasts uncomfortably long *ironic i know* and i cannot climax.
I’ve been learning to think positively, think of it as an advantage on avoiding premature ejaculation. I’m not so sure though, since my glans alone are sensitive enough already and I miss the sensitive shaft.
Note that I still can feel temperatures, stings and pinches (although I have to pinch very hard to feel anything compared to what I feel by pinching the glans). I still get morning erections and things like that. I’ve noticed however that when I finish urinating there seems to be something left. I went to a neurologist, and he told me that he doubted any serious damage had been done…then he told me it could be in my head…but i know exactly when i stopped feeling sensations. I was actually almost too sensitive before this happened…now i need aggressive stimulation of the glans, along with visual stimulation, and even than it is difficult for climax.

I masturbate once everyday, I enjoy it normally but some things make it hard for me to enjoy it at the end.
When my penis isnt erect its ok.
When im getting horny and aroused its gr8.
when im stroking its gr8.
But at the end about 10 seconds before I ejaculate my penis becomes so sensitive I cant stroke it enough to experience a full orgasm.
and if I tryn stroke it right to orgasm my penis feels wierd and it kind of feels bad, sort of hurts and annoys me so much that I cant continue and I have to stop, and then because I troked it when it was to sensitive even if I do orgasm and ejcaulate I loose my erection but Iv not experienced a normal orgasm. Because it was to sensitive it pushes my orgasm away from the edge.
If i tryn stroke and ignore it to get past the sensitive phase, Il only have quarter of an orgasm, like i was getting near it and couldnt get right too it and ejaculated before reaching full orgasm and then my penis goes limp and im still not fully satisfied.
If I just masturbate till it gets sensistive and just do an extra few strokes to push me over the edge, il only have half of an orgasm, like i was only half way there and ejaculated.
Iv tried everything, lotions, lubes, hand creams, toys, even dry.
But it just gets too sensitive right when im about to reach near my orgasm to ejaculate.
but because it gets too sensitive the orgasm doesnt fully come, because my penis is too sensitive to excite me to orgasm aswell as let me ejaculate.

Either I will get a strong ejaculation, and the orgasm that was about to take me over the edge gets left where it is half way, and iv still not reached over the edge.

I dont have premature ejaculation, I can masturbate for as long as I want, I can delay it. I can masturbate in under 3 minutes or make it last hours.
