Prevent Premature Ejaculation

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009

There are many approaches today as to prevent premature ejaculation. We can – for the sake of clarity – organize them into categories.

  • Pills and Creams

Prevent premature ejaculation can be viewed as a strictly “medical” task. Some scientific studies relate the inability to control ejaculation to the concentration of certain neurotransmitters in our neural pathways. For this reason you will find several products on the market, from selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs), to Viagra and Prozac. Other products, such as Climinax, are natural in nature (as opposed to lab synthesis products), but essentially revolve around the same concept of trying to interfere with your hormonal levels.

Other approaches act on the principle of sensitivity reduction to prevent premature ejaculation. It is the case with creams and sprays, which desensitize your penis (and partly your partner’s sexual organ too) allowing you to “stay longer”. It is not clear yet (but strongly suspected) whether these creams and sprays have side and/or permanent effects on human body. Besides this risk, it’s clear that – although straightforward – the idea of lessening the pleasure in order to lengthening it is not exactly appealing to the most. At least, not to me!!

  • Sexwear :-)

Along the same lines of sensitivity reduction to prevent premature ejaculation, you can find other products to be worn during intercourse. These are basically special condoms, designed to reduce your stimulation, or the so called penis rings (a.k.a. cock rings or cockrings). The latter don’t actually reduce stimulation, they rather slow down blood flow to the penis allowing you to achieve a longer and harder erection. Because this erection is purely physical, this can help lasting longer as you may be able to better control your arousal, which in turn plays a significant role to prevent premature ejaculation.

  • Body Exercises

Still another approach is to consider the mechanics of the body to prevent premature ejaculation. During ejaculation, semen is squeezed out of the prostatic urethra by some muscles called “perineal muscles”. Getting in control of these muscular fibers, learning to feel their action and exercising them in the proper way can help a lot to prevent premature ejaculation.

This should give you an idea of what’s available today to prevent premature ejaculation. The items listed can help some people prevent premature ejaculation, however none is in my opinion able to say the definitive word. In my research and true attempt to prevent premature ejaculation for me, I did find something really working, proven, sound. I’m talking about The Ejaculation Trainer ebook. Here, and after a looong search, I finally found an integrated approach to my issue, tackling the problem from several angles and actually increasing the quality as well as the length of my sexual experience, not reducing it.
