i am receiving 280 plus e mails in my spam box about things ive never even searched about – all the ones i can i have sent either stop messages or unsubscribed but some are just links and when i contact the companies direct asking them to stop i get MORE!! Somebody please help !! im a 27yr old woman receiving over 200 e mails a day about Penis enlargement and premature ejaculation (i know its funny) but its getting on my nerves lol

Let that account die a natural death or delete it at the link below. you could keep it for junk subscriptions etc. But above all get a new email address and don’t subscribe to anything unless you want to start getting flooded again.

As for not subscribing to anything, maybe you’ve visited a dodgy website or a spyware-type site that’s extracted your email address or…
Your email address is ‘out there’ for a reason – I’m not being driven mad by spam; it’s not necessary you know.
So, get a new email address and be much MORE careful about who you give it out to (don’t put it in Internet Explorer settings or any software, really)
Use Firefox to pick up you eMails. At least it will all, well, mostly all, go into a separate box.
Just let them keep going into your spam-bulk box. If they are in your IN box mark it as spam and go into options and mark the spam to block all images. Just delete the bulk mail or set it to delete it every week in the spam options.
What happens is when you respond to the emails and ask
them to stop, it lets them know that that mailbox is alive and they will spam your email address to others and you get more.
As long as they are going into the bulk mail box just ignore them.
DO NOT open them or follow any links, that is dangerous to infecting your computer. I’ve had my mail box for 4 years and every week I have like 300+ in bulk.
When you click on unsubscribe or anything like that on those emails you are also letting them know it is an active address.
